A strategic imperative for Vessco remains to meet with satisfaction the demanding and passionate requirements of the local community’s heavy industry. Early in 2008 a contract was completed for a local steel plant for BOS plant cooling ducts, the cross sectional area being over 5m² by a developed length of over 160m; the contract value exceeded £250K.

Further, an ability to react to emerging repairs on critical equipment, for example furnace doors, hydraulic cylinders and pumping stations also remains an important element to our ongoing success. Another key element to the product mix is site services, ranging from single or multiple tube replacements to major installation or site based refurbishments. Occasionally items are removed from site for shop-based repair or refurbishment.
